Force vs. Deflection Testing

Listed By: sales     No ratings yet   View rating history and comments

Bidding only available to labs with testing facilities in the United States or Canada

Auction Description

1. We are looking into testing a flexible circuit board (approx. 185mm oal) for force versus deflection testing.
2. We are looking for forces to be applied along the circuit board centerline, and also forces perpendicular to the circuit board. The forces (perpendicular and CL) would be applied as separate tests, with separate deflections. We are not looking for combined (perpendicular and CL) forces with a combined deflection. We are looking for forces to be applied so we have deflection data between 0-1mm. With each force, we would want the corresponding deflection data.
3. We would expect the required forces to be less than 1N. and most likely in the tenths of a Newton.
4. The circuit board cross-section is estimated to be approx. 0.110mm thick x 3mm. wide.

"When we had a need to conduct some external testing, we started by contacting local testing labs and got quotes of $500 per sample. Then we found testing partners and they were able to get the job done for $200 per sample, saving us thousands! We have been working with them for our external testing and certification needs ever since."
